Analog FCT
Analog FCT

What is an FCT device? The simplest definition is that when a call is made from a fixed PTT line (PSTN) to a GSM operator, it redirects the PSTN call to the GSM operator, enabling the conversation to be made from GSM to GSM.

The FCT device connects to your company's PBX like an external line, and calls made from this line are processed as GSM-to-GSM calls using the GSM SIM card inside the FCT device. Since GSM-to-GSM calls are more economical in terms of pricing, it allows company employees to make GSM calls from their desks at lower costs. If the GSM gateway is multi-channel, it can hold more SIM cards, ensuring that GSM calls can be made using the cheapest method possible, and if VPN-type SIM cards are used, these calls can even be free.

Beyond its general function of enabling GSM-to-GSM calls, different brands and models of FCT devices on the market have their own unique features. For example, some FCT devices redirect missed calls to the office phone when the other party calls back, while others support BRI, PRI, IP PBX, and SIP applications.

DTMF keys, when sent via in-band, are often distorted, delayed, or short in duration before reaching the other party, making them inaccurately undetectable by voice response systems.

However, when we dial the same number from our mobile phone and enter the numbers, we witness that the voice response system can recognize our DTMF key presses. The DTMF sounds you hear when you dial from your mobile phone after the call begins are not produced and sent by your phone, but by the GSM network that initiated the call. Your mobile phone sends the numbers you dial to the GSM network with a command. The GSM network receives this command and produces a DTMF sound of a quality that both parties can hear loudly. This allows the voice response system on the other side to perceive a higher quality DTMF sound.

The BlueGate Analog FCT device suppresses and eliminates the DTMF key presses we make from the internal phone and sends the DTMF sounds you want to be produced to the GSM network via command (out-band), just like on mobile phones.

 Programming

Programming the device's features is done via DTMF keypad entry.

 Adjusting Sound Level

With the help of the device's management program, the sound level can be adjusted from GSM to the PBX or from the PBX to GSM. This results in higher quality voice calls.

FCT devices are indispensable communication tools for companies. Companies that need to be in constant communication with their customers or personnel can save significantly on communication costs thanks to FCT devices. Furthermore, competition among GSM operators allows for even greater savings through various campaigns and tariffs. Thus, an FCT device pays for itself in a short time, essentially becoming free for the company.

An important point to consider when purchasing an FCT device is to determine the number of FCTs according to your company's call volume, eliminating the risk of calls being busy. Also, when purchasing an FCT device, you need to determine whether you need a digital or analog FCT device.

General Information

The BlueGate ANALOG FCT device is preferred by small and medium-sized businesses.

- It is credit card sized.
- It supports GSM900 and GSM1800 networks.
- It works 100% compatibly with all PBXs regardless of brand.
- A maximum of 1 SIM card can be installed in a single device.
- It is easy to install and operate, and requires no maintenance. Who is it suitable for?
- Small businesses
- Small offices, home offices, shops, warehouses, stores, etc.
- Businesses from all sectors with low-capacity telephone exchanges

Benefits

Reduces telephone costs.

Enables outgoing calls initiated from the business exchange to be made using economical GSM lines.

Increases customer satisfaction.

Allows individuals to call the business more economically using their mobile phone lines compared to PSTN.

Advantages

 Polarity Reversal

When the call ends, the device automatically reverses the direction of current. If the telephone exchange is capable of detecting the change in current direction and automatically resolving the external port to which the FCT is connected, the "hanging" problem will not occur.

CLIP / CLIR

The phone number of those calling the business from the CLIP GSM line is displayed on the internal phone screen of the exchange (if available) before the call is answered. Even if the PBX doesn't have internal phones with screens, the caller's number will be recorded in the PBX's call log (CDR).

CLIR ensures that the SIM card number in the device is hidden from the other party during calls originating from GSM.

Charging Pulse Generation

From the moment a GSM call is established, it starts sending 12 or 16 kHz charging pulses to the PBX. The frequency of charging pulse generation (e.g., 1 credit every 6 seconds) can be adjusted in the management program depending on the GSM line used.

Call Duration Restriction

Allows the operator to restrict the SIM cards that can be used for calls to GSM based on call duration. For example, a GSM call starting with 054 can never exceed 10 minutes, while no restriction is applied to a call starting with 053.

Call Direction Restriction

Allows the operator to restrict the SIM cards that can be used for calls to GSM based on call direction. Thus, for example, a GSM call starting with 053 will never be made through a line starting with 054.

DTMF Keying and Command Sending

With the ability to make calls to landlines via FCTs, a new complaint has emerged regarding older generation analog FCTs. When we call many businesses, we are answered by an automated voice response system. If we are calling an extension number or a bank, we need to enter our account number. If we make such a call to a landline using an older generation analog FCT, we witness that even though we press the keys on our desk phone, the voice response system on the other end does not recognize our key presses.

The key press sounds (DTMF tones) we produce from our phone are sent to the other end via the GSM network, along with our voice commands.

FCT as SIP Server / Using the FCT as a SIP Server

When the BlueGate VOIP FCT device is positioned as a SIP Server on the local computer network, 12 IP phones in the company's VOIP network can use the device to access the GSM network. Since the device can hold a maximum of 2 SIM cards, 2 simultaneous calls can be made.

FCT as SIP Trunk / Using the FCT as a SIP External Line

This allows the company's existing IP-based PBX to register the GSM lines in the FCT as external lines.

Smart Call Back (SCB)

When a call is made to a GSM number, if the person being called cannot answer their mobile phone, the call back will be returned to the internal subscriber who initiated the first call when the company's GSM number, which appears in the missed calls section of the mobile phone, is called back. It does not go to the PBX operator.

Least Cost Routing (LCR) / Intelligent Routing

This feature automatically selects the GSM line for calls initiated from the PBX, based on the dialed number, ensuring the call is made from a SIM card belonging to the same network.

Calling Line Identification Presentation (CLIP) / Number Display

The phone number of those calling the company from the GSM line is displayed on the PBX's internal phone screen (if available) before the call is answered. Even if the PBX does not have internal phones with screens, the caller's number will be recorded in the PBX's call logs (CDR).

Calling Line Identification Restriction (CLIR) / Number Display Prevention

Increases the speed and quality of communication between your customers and employees. Allows individuals to call the business more economically using their mobile phone lines compared to PSTN.

Advantages

Network Switching Subscriber Detection

“Blocking calls to a port-out subscriber” is an optional service provided by the GSM operator. It is provided on a line-by-line basis. When this service is defined for lines in the BlueGate BRI FCT, calls to a subscriber who has changed networks are automatically blocked by the GSM operator, and the FCT uses one of the alternative call paths.

If the PBX has lines suitable for making calls in all directions, the PBX ensures that the call to the subscriber who changed networks is made from one of these lines. If the PBX does not have lines suitable for making calls in all directions (or if they are all busy), the call can be made via UMTH using a VoIP device connected to the PBX.

Smart Call Back

When a call is made to a GSM number, if the person being called cannot answer their mobile phone, the call back will be returned to the internal subscriber who initiated the first call when they call the company's GSM number, which appears in the missed calls section of their mobile phone. It will not go to the PBX operator.

Balanced SIM Selection

The desired call directions from GSM are defined in the PBX. However, the PBX does not specify which SIM card to select. In this case, the PBX sends the outgoing calls to the BRI FCTs in a cyclical manner. BRI FCT uses a different SIM card for each call. This ensures that the charges on the monthly bill from the GSM operator are evenly distributed across the SIM cards.

CLIP / CLIR

CLIP: In many businesses (e.g., call centers of banks), for a caller to receive service, their identity must be verified by displaying their mobile phone number on the operator's screen or entering it into the call logs in the information systems. BlueGate FCT can transmit the caller's number to the switchboard, meaning it has CLIP capability. For incoming calls, the caller's number is displayed on the internal phone.

CLIR: If desired, the user can hide their number on outgoing calls from BlueGate FCT by entering a special code. When the special code is entered, BlueGate FCT prevents the SIM card number from being displayed to the other party. For outgoing calls, the user can choose to hide their number.

CLIR Charging Information Generation

In businesses that charge for calls (hotels, dormitories, guesthouses, public institutions, etc.), to ensure 100% accurate billing for calls initiated by internal subscribers, AOC (Advice Of Charge) information is sent to the switchboard from the moment the call is established. Billing does not begin while the call is still ringing and the call has not been established. The call is billed from the moment the call is established and the conversation begins, not after the call starts ringing. (For customers...)

For businesses that charge for (or their employees') phone calls, accurate billing is essential.

Automatic Direction Selection

This feature automatically selects the GSM line for calls initiated from the PBX, based on the dialed number, ensuring the call is made from the SIM card of the same network. For each outbound call, it automatically selects the SIM card in the PBX that offers the cheapest call rate.

Call Direction Restriction

This allows the business to restrict the GSM lines that can be used for calls to GSM, based on the direction of the call. For example, a GSM call starting with 053 will never be made through a 054 line.

Direct Access

This allows for the static one-to-one mapping of a B-channel in the ISDN-BRI connection between the device and the PBX to the GSM lines on the device. This allows the PBX to decide which SIM card outgoing calls will originate from or which DID incoming calls will terminate on the PBX.

External Access to the PBX

Allows company personnel to access the company's PBX from their mobile phones while outside the office, enabling them to make outgoing or internal calls through the PBX.

Management and Monitoring

A Windows-based program allows real-time monitoring of information such as the device's PBX connection, GSM line status, and the number of simultaneous calls. Furthermore, all device configuration and routing settings can be managed remotely (via RS232) from the same program. It is managed from a PC using a graphical program via RS232 connection. GSM signal quality can be monitored from a PC. The configuration file can be saved to and uploaded from the computer.

OPTIONAL >> Short Message Server

Using the COM port on the device, network users can send and receive SMS messages from their computers. When sending a message in any messaging program (such as Outlook), instead of entering an email address in the "TO" field, entering a mobile phone number will send the first 160 characters of the message's content (BODY) as a short message from the SIM card on the device. This feature can be used in marketing campaigns for mass announcements by the business. Sending SMS messages will reduce telephone expenses.

OPTIONAL >> Tariff Monitor

The BlueGate BRI FCT device analyzes outgoing calls based on the dialed number. Based on this analysis, it determines which SIM card should be used. It does this by checking which SIM card belongs to which tariff, how much talk time was used and should be used within a month. Based on these criteria, it selects the SIM card to use. This prevents data usage or overage, resulting in balanced bills at the end of the month.

OPTIONAL >> Global Internal Subscriber

This feature allows calls to desktop phones in the business to ring simultaneously on mobile phones. Even when the user is outside the office, they can answer calls to their desk phone from their mobile phone, put the call on hold, or transfer it to another mobile or landline phone.

Businesses (universities, factories, hospitals, etc.) whose employees are mostly mobile and therefore need to create coverage on their campus can benefit from GSM coverage with BlueGate BRI FCT instead of making expensive DECT investments.

This eliminates the need for the business to wait for the payback period of a DECT system investment, and users don't have to carry both mobile extension (DECT) and personal cell phones. Employees can answer incoming calls from their personal cell phones without having to provide their phone numbers. Typically, MVPN lines are used for GSM calls between FCT and personnel. This feature reduces telephone costs, improves accessibility, and increases productivity.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is our switchboard compatible with BlueGate Digital FCT? How can we tell?

If your current telephone switchboard supports ISDN technology, you can use digital FCT. However, even if your PBX supports ISDN technology, it may not have any available ISDN ports. First, you should check if your PBX has any available ISDN ports. If not, you should add these ISDN ports to your PBX.

a) For BlueGate brand ISDN-BRI digital FCT: If you want a 2-line BlueGate ISDN-BRI FCT, the PBX must have as many available ISDN-BRI ports as the number of FCTs you need. For example, for 6 simultaneous calls, 3 ISDN-BRI devices are required. In this case, the PBX must have at least 3 available ISDN-BRI ports. For example, for 8 simultaneous calls, 4 ISDN-BRI devices are required. In this case, the PBX must have at least 4 available ISDN-BRI ports.

b) For BlueGate brand Compact PRI digital FCT: If you want an ISDN-PRI compatible BlueGate Compact PRI FCT, the PBX must have as many available ISDN-PRI ports as the number of FCTs you need. For example; For 12 simultaneous calls, one ISDN-PRI device is required. In this case, the PBX must have at least one available ISDN-PRI port. For example, for 24 simultaneous calls, one ISDN-PRI device is required. In this case, the PBX must also have at least one available ISDN-PRI port.

If you already have an ISDN-PRI connection with Türk Telekom, you can use BlueGate Compact PRI FCT without additional investment.

Free site survey during the quotation phase: You can take advantage of Telista's free site survey service to ensure your existing PBX meets the requirements for switching to digital FCT.

Is it possible to switch to BlueGate Digital FCT without investing in our PBX?

If your current PBX does not have a free ISDN-PRI port, but the customer has an existing ISDN-PRI connection with Türk Telekom, then yes, you can use it. BlueGate Compact PRI FCT is placed between the PBX and the ISDN-PRI connection with Türk Telekom. Thus, incoming calls from PSTN will still terminate at the central office as before, while outgoing calls to destinations requested by the customer (e.g., those starting with 053) will be routed through Turkcell lines.

How does our number appear to the other party during outgoing calls?

If you don't want your GSM number to be visible, you can enable the CLIR option on your device. If you do want your GSM number to be visible, the number displayed to the person being called will be the number of the SIM card used during the call.

The display of the landline number instead of the 05x number of the SIM card in the FCT to the person being called – this is not possible as BTK (Information and Communication Technologies Authority) allows it for GSM operators. However, your GSM operator's GSM CALL CE option is available.

By utilizing the NTER service, you can display your business's 444 number, if available, or a shared number assigned to your business by your GSM operator.

What happens when a ported number is called?

It is necessary to activate the "prevent calls to the ported subscriber" feature on the SIM cards in the device with your GSM operator. When the BlueGate digital FCT cannot call the ported number from the SIM card, it returns the call to the PBX. The PBX will then automatically make the call through an alternative route.

Does the BlueGate FCT work in areas with low GSM signal levels?

No, all FCTs (analog or digital) – just like mobile phones – provide quality calls only when GSM signals are sufficient. Therefore, the signal level should be checked before installation. If there are deteriorations in voice quality with every call, the signal level may be insufficient where the device is located.

Free survey during the quotation phase: You can take advantage of Telista's free survey service to measure the GSM signal level at the points where you want the FCT installed in your building.

Is it possible to combine the antennas of a Digital FCT into a single antenna?

The standard product includes one 2-meter cable GSM antenna suitable for indoor use for each SIM card. It is possible to reduce the number of antennas by using an optional antenna combiner. An antenna combiner will require 1 antenna for every 4 lines. Thus, for example, you can use only 7 antennas for 28 lines.

WARNING: Antenna combiners cause a loss in GSM signal level. Therefore, an on-site survey should be conducted before installation to prevent potential sound quality problems.

Advantages

Detecting Network Switched Subscribers

When one of the internal subscribers in the PBX system dials a GSM number that has switched networks, the BlueGate Compact PRI FCT device will also call the GSM subscriber who has switched networks using the cheapest call path, using the following methods.

Blocking Calls from GSM

"Blocking calls to ported subscribers" is a service provided by GSM operators. The line in the FCT is defined by the GSM operator on a line-by-line basis. When this service definition is made for lines in the BlueGate PRI FCT, calling a subscriber who has changed networks is automatically blocked by your GSM operator, and the FCT uses one of the following alternative calling paths:

Signal Detection

When the BlueGate PRI FCT calls a subscriber who has changed networks, it detects the sound heard before the call is established and uses one of the following alternative calling paths:

XML Query

For each outbound call, the BlueGate PRI FCT queries the dialed number from the database. When a subscriber who has changed networks calls, it uses one of the following alternative calling paths:

Alternative Calling Paths

If there are lines available for all-network calling in the BlueGate PRI FCT, the call to the subscriber who has changed networks is made from one of these all-network calling lines. If there are no lines available for all-network calling in the BlueGate Compact PRI FCT (or all are busy), the call is returned to the PBX or made via UMTH using a VoIP device connected to the E1 port on the device.

Communication with External Computers (XML Support)

If the business has XML-enabled software (such as a CRM), the BlueGate PRI FCT communicates with this software for every outgoing call. The BlueGate PRI FCT sends the number to be dialed to this software and makes the call based on the response received.

This communication capability offers significant benefits depending on the capabilities of the software used by the business. Some of these applications include:

- Selection of outgoing SIM card based on the dialed number,
- Making calls knowing which operator a subscriber has switched to,
- Informing the FCT of the maximum number of minutes that can be spoken to with the dialed number,
- Dynamically determining where the incoming call will terminate at the switchboard,
- XML support allows the business to develop company-specific capabilities aimed at reducing telephone costs and increasing efficiency.

Tariff Monitor

The BlueGate PRI FCT analyzes outgoing calls based on the dialed number. Based on this analysis, it determines which SIM card should be used. While doing this, it checks which SIM card belongs to which tariff, how much talk time was used and should be used within a month. Based on these criteria, it selects the SIM card it will use. This prevents data loss or overuse, resulting in balanced bills at the end of the month.

Global Internal Subscription (Mobility Extension)

This feature, known in English as "Mobility Extension" or "Global Mobile Extension," is not optional like in competing products. The Global Internal Subscription feature is standard and free in BlueGate PRI FCT. This feature can be used by selected employees or all PBX users.

This feature allows calls received on desktop phones in the business to ring simultaneously on mobile phones.

Even when the user is outside the office, they can answer calls coming to their desk phone from their mobile phone, put the call on hold, or transfer it to another mobile or landline phone.

Businesses (universities, factories, hospitals, etc.) that need to create coverage on their campus because many of their employees are mobile can benefit from GSM coverage with BlueGate PRI FCT instead of making an expensive DECT investment.

This eliminates the need for the business to wait for the payback period of the DECT system investment, and users don't have to carry both their mobile extension (DECT) and personal mobile phones.

Employees answer calls coming to their office from their phones without disclosing their personal mobile phones.

MVPN lines are generally used for GSM calls between personnel and the FCT.

Telephone costs are reduced. Accessibility is improved, and productivity increases.

Secure Cell Selection

The device allows you to pre-program which base stations the SIM cards in the device can receive service from. Thus, the device will not receive service from any cells other than the selected base stations. If a fake BTS (Biometric Call System) is detected during use, it will not allow its use and will send an ALARM to the system administrator. This is a precaution against the possibility of malicious eavesdropping or sabotage of conversations.

Smart Callback

When a call is made to a GSM number, if the person being called cannot answer their phone, the caller will dial the company's GSM number, which appears in the missed calls section of their phone. This callback will return to the internal subscriber who initiated the first call. It will not go to the switchboard operator.

Playing Announcements on Every Call

Pre-recorded announcements can be played on every incoming and/or outgoing call.

For example, on outgoing calls initiated from a call center, an announcement such as "Hello, we are calling you from XYZ. This conversation is being recorded for your security" can be played as soon as the call is established.

This saves the bank operator time and energy. Moreover, since they are legally obligated to make this announcement, businesses that record conversations do not need to make additional investments in their switchboards for automation of such a warning announcement. Incoming calls are greeted with an announcement, ensuring the caller is calling the correct number. Outgoing calls are automatically played with advertisements, announcements, etc.

Smart GSM Line Selection

This feature automatically selects the most economical GSM line for outgoing calls initiated from an internal phone within the business, based on the dialed number. It does this by processing information such as the dialed number, the date and time of the call, the usage time of the GSM lines, and the identity of the internal subscriber initiating the call through LCR (Least Cost Routing) algorithms. For each outgoing call, it automatically selects the SIM card in the FCT that offers the lowest call cost.

CLIP / CLIR

CLIP: In many businesses (for example, bank call centers), for a caller to receive service from the business, their mobile phone number must be displayed on the operator's screen or entered into the call logs in the information systems for identity verification. BlueGate FCT has CLIP capability, meaning it can transmit the caller's number to the PBX. For incoming calls, the number of the caller is displayed on the internal phones.

CLIR: If the user wishes, they can hide their number during outgoing calls from the BlueGate FCT by entering a special code. When the special code is entered, the device prevents the SIM card number from being displayed to the other party. During outgoing calls, the user can also choose to hide their number.

Automatic SMS Sending for Missed Calls

If the mobile subscriber does not answer their phone during outgoing calls, the BlueGate FCT automatically sends a generic SMS message. Even if the people you called couldn't answer, they won't lose your contact information and can call you back.

Automatic Email Forwarding of Incoming SMS Messages

Incoming SMS messages to lines on the BlueGate FCT are sent to users' computers via email. SMS messages from those you called are not lost; they are forwarded to the relevant person via email.

Automatic Quality of Service Monitoring

If the GSM signal level in the location where the BlueGate FCT is located becomes unsuitable for quality calls, the device automatically sends an ALARM message (as SMS and EMAIL). This prevents complaints that may arise due to a decrease in call quality within the business. Timely action is taken.

Smart Call Initiation

SIM cards are assigned to departments or individuals within the business. The internal phone number used to initiate the call is checked to determine which department it belongs to, and the call is made from the SIM card assigned to that department. This allows different departments within the same business to have separate budgets. When used in conjunction with your GSM operator's GSM Call Center service, this feature allows different GSM numbers to appear for different departments or individuals within the same business. Different individuals/departments within the business can keep their own budgets separate. Outbound Calling

This allows different GSM numbers to be displayed.

Smart Call Termination

If SIM cards are assigned to departments or individuals within the company, incoming calls are checked to determine which department the internal phone assigned to the ringing SIM card belongs to, and the incoming call is terminated on the internal phone assigned to that department/person. Incoming calls are terminated in the relevant department/person. This ensures that callers reach the correct person more quickly.

External Access to the PBX

You can use the economical call options of your company's PBX even when you are outside the office, without needing any investment or programming in your PBX. It allows you to make calls through the company even while mobile. Calls are recorded in the PBX logs. FCT packages are utilized.

Authorized DISA in FCT

This allows mobile employees within the company to access the company's PBX from their MVPN-enabled mobile phones and make internal or external calls through the company's PBX. The MVPN line numbers of those who can benefit from this service are recorded in BlueGate FCT's memory. Authorized employees hear an internal dial tone from the PBX when they call the MVPN line on the BlueGate FCT and can dial any internal/external number they wish.

Authorized Call Back on FCT

This allows mobile employees within the company to access the company's PBX from their personal mobile phones and make internal or external calls through the PBX. The personal phone numbers of those who can use this service are stored in the BlueGate FCT's memory. When an authorized employee calls one of the lines on the BlueGate FCT, the BlueGate FCT terminates the call and immediately automatically calls the person back. When a call from the BlueGate FCT is answered on the mobile phone, they hear an internal dial tone from the PBX and can dial any internal/external number they wish.

Simultaneous Multiple Network (GSM/PSTN/VOIP) Connection

The device has 4 E1 ports. These ports offer the possibility of connecting to multiple networks simultaneously. For example; One of the E1 ports on the device connects to the PBX at the business premises, and the other connects to the PSTN (Türk Telekom); no investment is required in the PBX for digital FCT alone. VoIP devices with E1 interconnection can be connected to the other ports. Businesses with ISDN-PRI connections to Türk Telekom can start using BlueGate PRI FCT immediately without additional investment.

Charging Information Generation

In businesses that charge for calls (hotels, dormitories, guesthouses, public institutions, etc.), to ensure 100% accurate billing for calls initiated by internal subscribers, the device sends AOC (Advice Of Charge) information to the PBX from the moment the call is established. Billing does not begin while the call is still ringing and the call has not been established. The call is billed from the moment the call is established and the conversation begins, not after the call starts ringing. This is essential for accurate billing in businesses that charge their customers' (or employees') phone calls.

Assigning a GSM Line to Channel B on E1

This allows for the static one-to-one mapping of a channel B on E1 in the PBX connection to the SIM card in the device. This enables the PBX to decide which SIM card outgoing calls will originate from or which DID in the PBX will terminate incoming calls.

Correct DTMF Sending and Correct DTMF Reception

Correct Recognition of Incoming Keystrokes

When incoming calls to lines on the BlueGate FCT terminate in the PBX's automated call answering (IVR) system, the keystrokes made from the mobile phone must be correctly recognized.

Sending Correct Keystrokes on Outgoing Calls

For outgoing calls from lines on the BlueGate FCT, the automated call answering (IVR) system of the PBX of the called company must correctly recognize the keystrokes made from the mobile phone. Automated answering systems, especially those frequently used for landline calls, correctly recognize your keystrokes.

DTMF Filtering

Thanks to the DTMF filtering feature of the BlueGate FCT, DTMF keystrokes made during incoming calls are correctly detected by the PBX.

Also, thanks to the DTMF filtering feature, during outbound calls from the BlueGate FCT, the voice answering system amplifies the DTMF tones sent to the other party so that it can detect the keystrokes made from the internal phone.

Sending System Events via SMS and Storing in SYSLOG

When there is any problem with the GSM lines or PBX connection in the device (e.g., a drop in signal level), it sends an SMS to the system administrator. It also sends the same alarm to a SYSLOG server on the network via IP. The SYSLOG server sends an email to the relevant individuals according to the selected alarm level. This ensures that the company's telephone traffic continues without interruption.

On-the-Go Card Removal and Installation

This feature, supported only by professional telecommunications equipment, allows you to remove any SIM card slot and replace any SIM card without stopping the device.

Monitoring. This feature is vital for system administrators and offers the advantage of making structural changes even during working hours.

Management and Monitoring

With a Windows-based program, information such as the device's PBX connection, GSM line status, and the number of simultaneous calls can be monitored in real time. Furthermore, all device configuration and routing settings can be done from the same program, either on-site (via USB) or remotely (via Ethernet to IP or via CSD to GSM). This ensures the expected performance from the device and simplifies the work of system administrators.

Call Recording and Reporting

Information on all calls made through the device (date, time, duration, number, etc.) is stored. These records (128,000 lines) accumulated in the device's memory can be retrieved from the device to a computer and saved as files in CSV or TXT format. The device also allows CDR records to be sent to a SYSLOG server via IP. Budgeting, billing, and pricing can be done within the organization based on the records kept regarding the calls.

OPTIONAL >> Short Message Server

Using the USB port on the device, it allows network users to send and receive SMS messages via computer. When sending a message in any electronic messaging program (such as Outlook), instead of entering an email address in the TO section, entering a mobile phone number will send the first 160 characters of the message content (BODY) as a short message from the SIM card on the device. It can be used in marketing campaigns for mass announcements by the business. Sending short messages will reduce telephone costs.

OPTIONAL >> Antenna Combiner

This optional component combines the antenna outputs of the device, allowing the use of fewer antennas; Suitable for 1U height and 19" cabinet mounting. The number of input and output ports and operating frequencies (900MHz or 1800MHz) of the antenna combiner can be adjusted according to need. The antenna combiner causes a minimum loss of 15dBm in signal level. Therefore, GSM coverage measurements should be taken during the site survey before installation.

OPTIONAL >> Outdoor Antenna

A high-gain antenna suitable for outdoor conditions can be used at the antenna inputs collected at the antenna combiner output. It provides the possibility of carrying the effective GSM signal outside the building to the location of the device. Determining what type of antenna should be used is very important. Therefore, GSM coverage measurements should be taken during the site survey before installation.
